The political landscape of Alego Usoga is buzzing with anticipation as Wakili Kennedy Odhiambo, an aspiring Member of Parliament, recently shared his insights on Governor James Orengo’s perspective regarding a potential ODM-Kenya Kwanza merger.

His appearance on Ramogi TV’s RuuPiny Show has sparked conversations about leadership, democracy, and the importance of critical voices in shaping the region’s future.Wakili Kennedy Odhiambo made it clear that he respects Governor Orengo’s stand on the issue. He firmly believes in upholding democratic principles, where every leader is entitled to their opinion.

He sees value in considering different viewpoints, even when they diverge from the mainstream. In his words, “Democracy thrives on the exchange of ideas, and we must respect the right of leaders to voice their convictions.”

A core message that Wakili Kennedy Odhiambo articulated was the need for healthy criticism, particularly from leaders of integrity. He contends that criticism, when offered constructively, serves as a vital tool for accountability and improvement. “Leaders of integrity play a crucial role in holding others accountable,” he stated. “Their criticism helps us stay on course and ensures that we are serving the best interests of the people.”
